During this course, a great detachment within social hierarchy appears. Groups in need keep increasing, which becomes the highly concerned factor to stability of society and consecutive development of economy. This article starts with analysis of the relationship between group in need in Sichuan province and reformation of China, and then look into the formation of group in need in Sichuan, such as people resigning work, people out of work, peasants and peasant workers. The analysis of the relativity between the formation of group in need and the development of social economy, has set up criteria for the solution to group in need problem. Key words group in need, period of transition, relativity 1 Introduction Since opening up and reformation, our country has entered a period of complete transition, from traditional agricultural society to modern industrial one, and from major centralized planned economic system to socialized market economic system. This is the not only biggest transition in economic and social architecture in human history, but also the course of re-allocation and re-combination of social resources and profits. Sociologically, group in need is named after the group in weak position by various social causes like transition of society, ruling system diversion, government system reformation or structural adjusting.
