U8 Grammar A Using adjectives Teaching aims: 1. 能使用形容词来描述人或物。 2. 能掌握形容词做定语和表语时的位置。 3. 能掌握不定代词的用法。 Teaching Procedures: Step 1 呈现 对学生说:We know Millie keeps Eddie as her pet dog. What colour is her dog? 学生说:He is yellow. 教师继续描述:Yes, he is yellow. Eddie is yellow. He is a yellow dog. 教师说:Is he clever? 学生说:Yes, he is clever. 继续问学生:What other adjectives can we use to describe pets? 引出lovely, lazy, beautiful等词。 让学生用这些词造句,形容自己的宠物要求同一意思用两种方式表达。如: (1) My rabbit is lovely. / It is a lovely rabbit. (2) My mouse is lazy. / It is a lazy mouse. (3) My parrot is beautiful. / It is a beautiful parrot. 4. 将例句写在黑板上,问学生:Where do we put an adjective? 鼓励学生仔细观察例句,说出答案:We put an adjective before a noun or after a linking verb. Step 2 操练 1. 学生独立完成A1 部分的练习:Help Daniel make sentences with the words provided. 要求学生找出句中的形容词,全班集体朗读三个句子,体会句中形容词的用法。 2. 告诉学生:Daniel found two passages about pets on the website. Complete the sentences with the adjectives in the box.完成A2 部分的练习。 B Indefinite pronouns Step 1 呈现 教师就宠物问题继续和学生交流:We know pets are our good friends. They can make us happy. Does anybody/ anyone in our class have a pet? Oh, I’d glad to know that somebody/ someone in our class has a pet. 板书:anybody/ anyone,somebody/ someone。 安排一个学生站在教室门外,关上门后问其他学生: Is everybody/ everyone here now? 学生回答:No. 教师接着说:You are right. There is someone standing outside the classroom. 指着此学生的座位问:Is there anyone sitting on the seat? 引导学生回答:No,there isn’t anybody sitting on the seat. There is nobody/ no one sitting on the seat. 板书:everybody/ everyone, nobody/ no one 让学生从门外回到座位上,问:Is there anybody standing outside the classroom? 学生回答: No, there isn’t anybody standing outside the classroom. There is nobody standing outside the classroom. Step 2 操练 1. 教师将其余的不定代词:Something, anything, nothing, everything 写在黑板上,告诉学生:Today we’ll learn two kinds of indefinite pronouns. One kind is used to refer to people, such as someone, anyone and no one. The other kind is used to refer to things, such as something, anything and nothing. 2.
