Think and guess the new words of the text according to the teacher’s English. 1. Show the English explanations of the word and ask them to do a quiz. 1. To review and lead them to pave the way to this unit. 5 第二环节　观察操作、探索归纳平移的作法 Step two: detailed reading Step three: drawing chart of the process of the tale. Step four: telling the story 2. Read the text part by part and then answer the question: Background: what? How? Draw the speech of the charcters. 3. Read the text in details and finish the chart 4. work in group : Choose your actors and then one narrator to act out the story 2. Divide the whole tale into two parts: 1-3p.4-11p.then read the 1st part to learn how to explain the background of the tale. Read 4-11 to find the dialogue among the characters. 3.
