To do a lot of exercises to practice the grammar. 【学习目标】 概念 关系代词which和whom 除了在定语从句中作及物动词的宾语外，还可以作介词的宾语。在作介词的宾语时，可以跟介词一起放在整个定语从句的前面（此时关系代词不能省略),为了使关系代词紧跟先行词也可以把介词放在相关动词的后面，这种从句叫做带介词的定语从句。例如: 1) That is the room in which I live. (or: That is the room which/that I live in.) 2) I met the man to whom you talked yesterday. (or: I met the man whom/that/who you talked to yesterday.) 做题技巧 如何选取介词？ 1.根据先行词与从句中的动词、形容词等的固定搭配 2.根据先行词和介词的搭配 3.根据定语从句所表达的含义 Do you know the boy _____ ________ your mother is talking? 2. I still remember the day ____ ______ I first got to Paris. to whom on which 3. 他们来到一个农舍（a farm house),房前站着一 个小男孩。 They came to a farm house, _________________stood a little boy. 先行词和从句中动词等的搭配 先行词与介词的搭配 根据句意 in front of which 注1： 当介词放在相关动词后面时，which 可用that 来替换；whom可用that 或 who 来替换。此时关系代词可以省略。如： 1) That is the room (that ) I live in. 2) I met the man (that) you talked to yesterday. 注意事项 注2： 如果关系代词作含有介词的动词短语的宾语，此时动词短语不拆开，介词仍放在动词的后面。例如： Wrong: This is the pen for which I am looking.
