Step 1. Greet the class and check the homework.
Step 2. Lead—in
Let students listen to a song “Whatever Will be Will Be”
When I was just a little girl ,I asked my mother what will I be?
Will I be pretty, will I be rich? Heres what she said to me.
Que sera, sera.
Whatever will be, will be. The futures not ours to see ……
After listening to the song, ask: What will you be in the future? What will there be in 100 years?
Two minutes for students to think about that. Then ask several students to tell their answers freely.
Step 3. Learn the future tense
Show a picture and ask a student: Ask another student:
T: Look at this picture. T: What will he be in 10 years?
What will you be in 10 years? S: He will be a teacher.
S: I will be a teacher. T: Where will he work?
T: Where will you work? S: He will work in Changsha.
S: I will work in Changsha.
Points: will + 动词原形/ be
Show other pictures and ask students to make simple conversations. Move around to give any necessary help. Get some pairs to say their conversations.
Step 4. 1a Call attention to the sentences in 1a.Ask each group to read a sentence. Explain “robot” to the students
