ABSTRACTAskeyperformanceindex,ridingstability,maneuverabilityandvibrationcomfort capacityofmotorcycleareinvestigatedonthebasisofthequalitativeandquantitative analysisforalgebraicanddifferentialequationonthemotionanddyanmicsof motorcyclenumericalmodel.Motorcycleismultibodysystemwithsophisticated topologicalnon-treeconfigurationmadeofmechanical,electricaly,hydraulicaland controllingsystem,andturnstobehighspeedmachinewithlighterweight.Since motorcyclesubjectstolargedegreeoffreedomandroughrunningcondition,itishard tomakeelaboratequantitativeanalysisforitsdynamicbehaviorfromthesimplified modelwithlowerdegreeoffreedom.Simutaneously,intraditionaldesignfornew motorcycle,repetitativecyclefordesign,mock-upandtestistime-consumingand costly;someperformancetestsareunpractical;non-linearsuspensionsystemishard toadjust;roadtestscouldnotproducesameresultsinrepetitionbymore uncontrollability,allaboveretardtheprocedureofmotorcycleresearchand development.Thispaperisdevotedtoestablishaccuratemotorcyclevirtualprototype onthebasisofmultibodysystemdynamicsunderroadstochasticexcitationandhigh frequencyengineexcitationinordertofulfillthesimulationformotorcycledynamic responsein systematicalway,moreover,flexiblemultibodysystemis appliedto investigatethedynamicbehaviorontheconditionthatnon-linearelementsisadded intothesystem,especiallywithhighspeedpartsflexibility.Themaincontentand consequencein thispaper as follows:Applyvitualprototypingtoestablishmotorcycledigitalmodeland body-vehicle-roadmultibodysystem,whichworkundervirtualtestenvironment.The comparisonfordynamicpropertyisperformedbetweenthesimplifiedmodelof vehiclelumpedmasssystemandhigh-fidelityvirtualprototypeaccordingto topologicalconfigurationanddynamicaldifferentialalgebraicequationsothatthe methodofquantitativeanalysisofmotorcycledynamics,theeffectofsimulation analysis byvirtual prototypeis also verified byreal test.Establish tyredynamicmodelinADAMSwhileroadroughnessvalueinMATLAB accordingtopowerspectrumdensityofdifferentroadsinput
