Unit1 Once upon a time
教材 《英语》新标准 课时安排 2课时 教学内容 Unit 1 Once upon a time 教材分析 The unit is focused on the students’ listening and speaking, the vocabulary as well as the sentence structure is important for the students to master. 教学目标 To understand the story of Goldilocks told through the pictures and in the conversation.
To grasp the theme of the story.
To tell the story briefly. 教学重点 Enable the students to master the past simple regular verbs.
Memorize the new words and phrases in the unit.
Practice the sentence partners of the past simple regular verbs. 核心内容 Key vocabulary:
count,enter,hurry,knock,
pick,push,notice,be lost,bowl,
flower,hungry Key structures:
past simple regular verbs 教学准备 Tape recorder,pictures 教学过程 教师活动 学生活动 设计意图 Warming-up through following
sentences:
I walk to school every day.
I will walk to school tomorrow.
I walked to school yesterday.
Imitate the new grammar structures:
I walked to school yesterday.
He played basketball last Sunday. Leading-in
I.Ask the students to listen to the recording in Activity 1. Then ask them to check the true sentences.
(Activity 1)
Collect the answers from the class.
II. Ask the students to look at the pictures in Activity 2. Then ask the following question:
1.Who is Goldilocks?
2.Where is she?
Let them answer the questions using the words in the box,then check with a partner. Listen to the recording and check the true sentences individually.
The story begins:Once upon a time...(√)
Answer the teacher’s questions.
Goldilocks was a little girl with golden hair.
She was in the forest.
Point out the regular past simple forms.
New language points teaching III.Listen, read and number,match.
Play the recording through once while they just listen and look at the pictures.
Play it again for them to number the pictures.
Let them do Activity 3 and Activity 5.
Ⅳ. Listen, read and answer the questions.
Say: Today we’re going to listen to a conversation between Tony and daming. They’re
