AbstractWithpeople’severgrowingawarenessofhealthanddemandofhighlivingquality, travelinghasbecomeoneofthemostimportantelementsinlife.Leisuresportstourism,a combinationofexerciseandtravel,hasbeenespeciallymoreappreciatedandwelcomed inrecentyears.Asaresult,theice-snowsportstourism,asanessentialpartofthewinter leisure tourism, boosts recently, and it isregarded as a major project of ice-snow regions.Jilinprovinceisfamousforitsiceandsnowresourcesothatitisaperfectplacefor developingice-snowsportstourism.Inrecentyears,Jilinprovincemakesthebestofits resourceandlaysstressondevelopingtheice-snowsportstourism,anditissoinfluential thatithasrankedthefirstofthethreeprovincesofnortheastChinaintermsofrateof incomes.However,the total incomeislowerthan that of the Heilongjiang province, along withtheaspectofsportsfieldandqualityofservice.Theinternalproblemsconcernthe monotonousproducts,imperfectindustrychainandservicesystem,lowqualityofservice, and huge waste of resource, etc. Obviously, thereis still largepartto bedeveloped.Thisanalysisconcentratesonpromotingthedevelopmentofice-snowsportstourism inJilinprovince,applyingthemethodsofdocumentation,interview,questionnaire,and mathematicalstatistics,etctoanalyzedevelopmentandcountermeasure.Theconclusions are as follows:Jilinprovincehasrichnaturalandhistoricalresources,whichreferstotherichness insitesofice-snowsports.Nationalandinternationalice-snowsportscompetitionsare heldeveryear,andthewintertourismproductsliketheIce-snowTouristFestivalof Changhcun,ChinaalsoknowastheVasaloppetChinaattractagreatnumberoftourists fromhome and abroad.Jilinprovincehasveryobviousadvantages.Firstly,theadvantageofgeography andnaturalresourcesarethefoundationofdevelopingtheice-snowtourism.Secondly, thedevelopmentofeconomyisthematerialbase.Thirdly,therichnessinhistoryand culturesupportsthedevelopment.Fourthly,thediversesportseventsandleisureactivities push the development.Therearealsocleardisadvantagesintheprocessofdevelopment.Firstly,thelack ofarenascausetheim
