Abstract“Bei” sentences is a typical pattern of passive sentences of modern Chinese.The study of passive sentence as a center of “Bei” sentence, has always been the focus of the academic study about Chinese grammar. In this paper, learning from the basis of the achievements of predecessors and drawing reasonable connotations from transform syntax theory, valence grammar theory and Construction Grammar, we will make a more systematic study of semantic components about “Bei” sentence.This paper is divided into six chapters; the main contents of each part are as follows:The first chapter is an introduction. It introduces the overview of “Bei” sentence, the scope of the study, research methods and sources of the corpus.The main contents of the second chapter are structures and semantic analysis of “Bei” sentence. It introduces the most general form and the four specific format of “Bei” sentence and briefly discusses them. From the mobility, the results of justice, the semantics of color-defined on three aspects, we do a comprehensive analysis.The third chapter is the analysis of semantic relation of “Bei” sentence. Try to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the semantic relations on the basis of predecessors. The main contents of analysis are the relationship between N1and V, the relationship between N2 and V, the relationship between the N1, N2, and N3.The fourth chapter is a semantic analysis of the verbs of “Bei” sentence. Fromthe valence angle, we make a detailed analysis of the verbs, the dynamic nuclear of structure and sentence mode.The fifth chapter is the semantic analysis of the complements about “Bei” sentences.
