Generallyspeaking，donativecontractshallbeeffectiveuponitsfoundingnamely,anddonativepersonisnotallowedtorevocateatwill,especiallyforthedonativecontractofpublicpurpose.Butsincedonationcontractissubordinatetounilateralandgratuitouscontract,tobalancebothsides’interests,donativepersonisendowedwithrevocationrightinaparticularcase,whichincludesarbitraryandstatutoryrightofrevocation.Thenforthedonativecontract,webelieve，shouldapplytothestatutoryrightofrevocation.However,manyproblemsanddefectsstillexistintherevocationsystemofdonationcontract,especiallyintherightofrevocationofdonationcontract.Moreover,relevantregulationsarenotonlyinsufficientbutalsoambiguous.Theseissuesneedtobefurtherimprovementofthelaw.With“thecaseofHongKongtorevokedonations”asanexample,afterabriefintroductionofthecase,thisarticleputsforwardthefocusofthecasetoseizethekey.Afterthearticleproceedstolayer-by-layeranalysisofthecase,firstlyappliestoarbitraryrightofrevocationofdonationcontractthecase,throughastep-by-stepanalysis,drawsaconclusionthatarbitraryrightofrevocationcannotbeapplied.Then,basedonthelayersareintertwinedclosely,thisarticleleadstothestatutoryrightofrevocationofdonationcontract,afterasimpleanalysisofthestatutoryrightofrevocationandcomparisonwitharbitraryrightofrevocation,concludedthatthestatutoryrightofrevocationshouldbeapplicabletothecase.Andthenfocusesonthestatutorycircumstancesofthelegalrighttorevoke,inparticular,isdiscussedindetailonthissituationfitwiththecase,“nottofulfillacontractualobligation”.Atthesametime,theauthoralsoreferstothepracticeofGermany,Franceandotherdevelopedcountriesintherelevantlegislationtoprovehispoint.Finally,onthebasisofthereviewandreflectonthecase,theauthorputsforwardsomesuggestionsfortheimprovementourlegislationonrightofrevocationofdonativecontract,tryingtomakeexerciseofthecancellationrightofdonativecontractandresponsibilitysharingrationalize,whichprovidedfortheestablishmentofChinaslegalsystemandjudicialpracticesomeusefulreference,andthenstrivetocontributetothecontinuin
