AbstractEnglishvocabularyisavitalcomponentofEnglishlearningwhichprovidesthebaseforEnglishlistening,speaking,readingandwriting.However,thecurrentEnglishvocabularyteachingofhighschoolstudentsinChinaisnotsatisfying.Formosthighschoolstudents,vocabularylearningisalwaysanegativerememberingprocess.Studentsnotonlycannotgraspwords,butalsoloselearninginterestandmotivation.Inviewoftheexistingsituation,itissonecessaryandsignificanttoadoptsomescientificandefficientvocabularyteachingstrategies.ThisthesisexplorestheeffectivenessofassociativelearningstrategiesforEnglishvocabularylearning.Theauthorchoseacontrolledclassandanexperimentalclass.Eachclasshas50subjects.Atrainingonassociativestrategieswasgiventoexperimentalclass.Afterthetrainingofthreemonths,theauthorusedquestionnaires,testsandaninterviewtorecordedlearningresultsbetweentwoclasses.Thefindingsofthisresearchindicatethatassociativestrategiesarescientificandeffectiveforseniortwostudents,whichenhancelearners’abilityofvocabularylearning.Theassociativelearningstrategieshelplearnerslinktheirexistingknowledgewiththeirpresentlearning.ThisassociationhasmuchpositiveinfluenceonEnglishvocabularylearningprocess.Atthesametime,associativestrategiesprovidemoreefficientlearningmethodsandarouselearners’interestinvocabularylearning.KeyWords:associativestrategies,Englishvocabularyteaching,highschoolstudents摘要英语词汇是英语学习中必不可少的组成部分,它是听说读写的基础。然而,目前中国高中英语词汇教学并不是十分令人满意的。对于大多数高中生来说,英语词汇学习只是一个被动的记忆过程。这样的词汇学习不仅不利于学生掌握词汇,而且挫伤了学生学习的动机和兴趣。针对当前高中词汇教学的状况,研究一种科学、高效的词汇教学模式已势在必行。本文旨在探讨词汇联想策略对于高中英语词汇学习的有效性。本文作者选择了一个控制班和一个实验班作为研究对象,每班各50人。作者在实验班进行了词汇联想策略培训,帮助学生掌握有效的词汇学习策略。在三个月的培训之后,作者通过调查问卷,词汇测试和访谈,记录了控制班与实验班的学习结果。研究结果表明,词汇联想策略能够科学有效的提高高中学生的英语词汇学习能力。联想策略帮助学习者将新事物与已知的概念联系起来,有利于对新事物的理解,对英语词汇教学有着许多积极的指导意义。同时,联想策略给学生提供给了更多有效的学习方法,激发了学生对词汇学习的兴趣。关键词:联想策略;英语词汇教学;高中生Contents3.3.1Questionnaires.283.3.2VocabularyTests293.3.3Interview293.4TeachingProcedures.303.4.1.TheTrainingofPhonologyAssociation.30TheTrainingofMorphologyAssociation.32TheTrainingofSemanticAssociation.33TheT
