ABSTRACTMountedandfourmeshingpointtiltingequipmentofconvertersteelingisthemostpopulartheconvertertiltingtransmissionofLargeTonnageConverter.Becausetheconvertertiltingtransmissionhavecharacteristicoflowrevsandsmalltorque(asmuchas10000KNm),itsdecelerationratioisverylarge(from600to800).Atpresent,twostagedrivesisusedinmosttiltingequipmentofconvertersteelmakingwhichconsistingofthree-stagecylindricalgearingandlowspeedprimemover,soDrivingsystemandsingletransmissionhavethelargerstructuresizeandweight.Furthermore,theimprovementofload-bearingcapacity,thedepressionofvolumeandweight,andreductionofcostarelimited.Onthebasisofanalysisonloadandworkcharacteristicsfortiltingequipmentofconvertersteelmaking,takesingletransmissiongearasresearchobject,replacethesingletransmissionconsistingofthethreeorfourcylindricalgearingbythethree-ringdrivetransmissioninpossessionofintellectualproperty.Three-ringdrivetransmissionpossessesdistinguishingfeaturesofsimplestructure,lightweight,smallcubage,largeload-bearingcapacity,low-cost,largerdecelerationratio,lowclearanceandhysteresis.Discussthetransmissionandstructuraldesignofthethree-ringdriveanditsinfluencesonthetransmissionperformance.Providenecessarybasisforthedesignofstructuralandcapabilityoptimize.Basedonthedesignofaconvertertiltinggearformotionandstructureparametersofthedesign,theauthorusesmoderndesignmethods,calculatesanddeterminestheimportantparametersofatransmissiondevice.Basedonthemeshinganalysisofgearpair,multi-toothmeshingeffectofthesingletransmissionandload-bearingcapacityanalyze.Basedonthetransmissionquality,thedesignoftheprofileparametersontheperformanceoftransmissionconductedin-depthstudyandobtainedAddendumCoefficientofselectionmethod,whichprovidesatheoreticalbasisforAnimportantparameterofdeterminingtransmission.UGsoftwareusedtocompleteatransmissionparameterofallthepartsdetaileddesignandassemblingofvirtualprototyping.UsingUGsoftwaremodulesofmotionanalysis,itestablishesmotionanalysismodelofthesingletransmissionandsimulatesitsworkingproc
