ClinicalObservationonEffectofBuzhongYiqiDecoctioninTreatingLumbarProlapseofIntervertebralDiscprolapseABSTRCTObjective:ToobservetheBuzhongYiqiDecoctioninthetreatmentofthemiddle-agedandoldpatientswhosufferedbyQideficiencyPLIDwiththeroleandtrytofindanon-surgicalPLIDtreatmentwhichismoreeffective,andthenformulateasettotreatPLIDforthemiddle-agedandoldpatientsthatissimplyreasonable,andcurativeeffectaccurateplan,thusgetupeasyinthedomesticprofessionpromotion.Methods:Tocollect20middle-agedandold(40~70yearsold)patientswhocometheRuiKanghospitalandThesecondaffiliatedhospitalofShanXitraditionalChineseMedicineUniversityseeingadoctorfromMarch,2008toOctober,2008forthepaininwaistandlowlimbs.Dividethese20patientsintotwogroupesstochastically:thetreatmentgroupehas10examplesandthecontrolgroupehas10examples.ThetreatmentgroupetakeorallythetraditionalChinesemedicineBuzhongYiqiDecoctionandcoordinatepelvistractiontreatment,andthecontrolgropearetreatedbythepelvistraction,whiletheyallstrictlyrestonthesolidbed.Eachgropeofpatientspassthrough4treatmentcourses(8weeks)aroundthetreatment,andtreataccordingtoeachgroupeofcasechangestheformulationclinicalobservationtable,carryoncurativeeffectgrading.Thenappraiseclinicalcurativeeffectthroughstatisticalanalysis．Results:Aftercompareingthetwogroupesfromseveralsymptomsandsignsforeachgrope.Thereissignificantdifferencebeforeandafterthetreatmentonthelifeandtheabilitytoworkinthecontrolgroupandtreatmentgroupe(accordingtothestatisticalanalysis,P0.05).Aftercomparing,wefindthatthetreatmenthasbeenmademoresignificanteffectinsymptomsthanthecontrolgroup(accordingtothestatisticalanalysis,P0.05);Inthetreatmentgrope:2examplesarecured,6examplesshowgoodresults,2exampleschangeforthebetter,0examplesareinvalid,thecuredandexcellentrateis80%,andthetotaleffectivenessis100%;Inthecontrolgrope:1examplesarecured,4examplesshowgoodresults,2exampleschangeforthebetter,3examplesareinvalid,thecuredandexcellentrateis50%,andthetotaleffectivenessis70%.Thereissignificantdifferencebetweenthecured
