AbstracSuperabsorbent(SAP)hasexcellentwaterabsorptionandwaterretention,widelyusedinhygieneproducts,medicine,construction,agriculture,horticulture,foodandotherfields.SAPcurrentlyonthemarketalmostusepolyacrylicacid,whichexistspoorbiodegradableandcausesenvironmentalpollution,resourcedepletionandgrowingshortagetendency.Toreducethesubsequentenvironmentalpollution,naturalandmodifiedsuperabsorbentpolymerscausedgreatconcerntoacademics.Inthispaper,thesuperabsorbentwaterabsorptionsynthesisofkonjacflourisresearched.Firstlythemaincomponentsweredeterminedkonjacflourcontent.WiththewaysofInfrareddrying,burninglaw,separationofaweightofdissolvedalkalisolutionmethod,3,5-dinitrosalicylicacidcolorimetry,thewater,ash,starch,glucomannanofthekonjacflourweremeasured.Theresultsshowedthattheircontentswere6.77%,4.50%,30.05%,40.25%.Potassiumpersulfateasinitiator,N,N-methylene-bis-acrylamideascrosslinkerandbymeansofradicalpolymerizationinaqueoussolution,konjacpowder-acrylicacid(sodium)superabsorbentissynthesized.Withtheuniformdesignmethod,synthesizedoptimumconditionsofkonjacpowder-acrylicacid(sodium)absorbentgraftcopolymer.Theresultsshowthattheoptimalconditionsforacrylicacid(AA/konjacflour)is10.6g?g-1,initiator(initiator/konjacflour)is5.08%;reactiontemperatureis66.0℃;amountofcrosslinkingagent(crosslinkingagent/Konjacflour)is1.46%;reactiontimeis2.52h;acrylicaciddegreeis78.12%.Preparedunderoptimalconditions,reactantswaterabsorptionofKonjacflour-AAcopolymerizationis685.3g?g-1andsaltabsorptionrateis93.5g?g-1.Potassiumpersulfateasinitiator,N,N-methylene-bis-acrylamideascrosslinkerbymeansofradicalpolymerizationinaqueoussolution,synthesizedkonjacflour-acrylamidesuperabsorbent.Withtheuniformdesignmethod,synthesizedtheoptimumconditionsofkonjacflour-acrylamidegraftcopolymersabsorption.Theresultsshowthattheoptimalconditionsfortheamountofacrylamide(AM/konjacflour)is6.93g?g-1,initiator(initiator/konjacflour)is5.35%,reactiontemperatureis72.0℃,amountofcrosslinkingagent(crosslinkingagent/konjacflour)is1.84%,re
