ABSTRACTTheInternethaspenetratedintoeveryaspectofsociallife,andhasbecomeanimportantplatformforoursocial,economic,culturalactivitiesandpersonallife.AccordingtoasurveyfromChinaInternetNetworkInformationCenter(CNNIC),byJune2014NetizensinChinashavereached632,000,000,anincreaseofabout140,000peoplecomparedtosixmonthsago.InternetPenetrationhasimproved31.1percentagepointscomparedtotheendof2013,about46.9%.AsofJune2014,Chinasmobilephoneusershavereached527,000,000,anincreaseof2,690,000comparedtotheendof2013.Internetcontinuestopermeateinthesociety,changingpeopleswayoflifeandevenmodeofthinking.ThemoretimepeoplespendontheInternet,thegreatereffectstheywillexpose.Internetchangespeopleslifeandthewholeworld,atthesametimeithasagreatinfluenceontheideologicalandpoliticaleducationinmiddleschools.Asthesayinggoesaswordscabbardhastwoedges.Theinfluenceofnetworkontheideologicalandpoliticaleducationofmiddleschoolstudentsisamulti-leveledandmulti-faceted,inanutshell,twofold.TheideologicalandpoliticaleducationundertheInternetenvironmenthasauniqueprogressiveness,whichcanopenabroaderstagefortheideologicalandpoliticaleducationinmiddleschools.Suchas:theideologicalandpoliticaleducationmethod,ideaandcontenthavestrongmodernfeatures,whichthetraditionalideologicalandpoliticaleducationcancompetewith.Meanwhile,theInternetishighlyaddictive,especiallyforthosewholacksocialexperienceandself-control,whohavestrongcuriosityandwhosepsychologicaldevelopmentisnotmatureenough.Alloftheseposeaseriouschallengetotheideologicalandpoliticaleducationinmiddleschools.ThisthesisisbasedonthesurveyandanalysisofthesituationofsurfingontheInternetinsomemiddleschoolsinDongchangfuDistrict.Accordingtothesituationofsurfing,theauthorinthisthesisexploresthevariousreasonsofsurfing,analyzestheopportunitiesandchallengesintheideologicalandpoliticaleducationinmiddleschools,andatlastputsforwardsomenewstrategiesinstrengtheningtheideologicalandpoliticaleducationinmiddleschools.KeyWords:Thenetwork;MiddleSchoolStudents;TheIdeologicalandPoliticalEdu
