As a certain amount of plot, character description of the growth process, the performance of the whole incident a game to decide the type of role-playing game must provide a vast virtual space for players to travel, adventure and life. Although the space is virtual, but it also has its living environment and rules. RPG game more emphasis on the performance of text, so that role-playing game can be more appropriate to express human feelings. And the whole process of the game by fighting, trading, and complex to solve the maze puzzles together. In large measures to meet the players have the potential for extraordinary colorful life. RPG games in the electronic game are the oldest, largest. RPG Maker XP can provide a powerful production platform; will enable producers to complete the game of plot, script, character design, and database design only by himself. The graduation project, the author completed a well-RPG game - Battle of rain. In this paper, the relevant background of the project and needs a brief introduction to explain the project objectives and basic tasks. The next two chapters introduce platform-related knowledge, simple game formulas and the configuration, drama, public events, maps, figures, and related scripts of the Battle of Rain game ,so that readers can clearly understand the rain Battle of design patterns, and related knowledge RPGmaker.
