AbstractRFID which is short of Radio Frequency Identification has been quickly developed into a non-contact automatic identification technology in the past two or three decades. RFID contains computer communication network technology, radio frequency identification, sensor technology as one of the internet of things industry. Basic RFID system includes electronic tags, the readers, middleware and application software components. Readers and tags communicate via electromagnetic waves. Now, RFID technology as a new technology has made an indelible contribution on economy, society, national defense,etc.The reader as a core component in RFID system, plays an indispensable role for the radio frequency identification. The baseband part of reader is taken up the whole system of data signal coding and decoding function, besides system security which based on the research of the RFID system constructed in the case.The thesis researched the RFID technology, based on EPC global C1G2 protocol of the UHF RFID reader baseband part. The thesis used Quartus II simulation software based on Alrera in the baseband simulation of main module of the reader, verify its correctness.The main work of this thesis is as below:1、It briefly introduces the background and importance of researching RFID system, along with the present domestic and overseas research status.2、This paper introduces the working principle of RFID system and introduces the application ofEPC C1G2 standard, after that, the thesis designs the RFID digital baseband module based on EPC C1G2 protocol.3、This paper introduces the channel filter of RFID system,besides it describes amplitudedetection and the generation process of digital signal,finally anti-collision algorithm for ALOHA is discussed.4、Describes the working principle and design idea of the main part of RFID reader baseband indetail, then based on the QuartusII simulation software, we use VHDL language to simulate the modules.Key words: RFID, Reader, Baseband, anti-c
