孕期低氧应激对子代雄性大鼠生殖能力影响-effect of hypoxia stress during pregnancy on reproductive ability of offspring male rats

Effects of Prenatal Hypoxic Stress on Reproduction inAdult Male Offspring RatsAbstractThe offspring of pregnant animals that are exposed to gestational stress can display long-term physiological and behavioral changes. Reproductive effect and mechanism when it exposure to specific or pathologic hypoxic during pregnancy is undefined. To investigate the effect of maternal hypoxic strsee on reproductive enginery of offspring in adult male rats, pregnant rats were randomly assigned to three groups: Simulated altitude (3km and 5km) in the well - ventilated hypobaric pressur chamber during the last week of gestation, comparing with that at hangzhou altitude. During adulthood, male offspring were tested for sexual behavior, In order to explore the effect of prenatal hypoxia stress on male reproduction of offspring more deeply, we also tested plasma levels of corticosterone of mother rats and adult male offspring., and tesed plasma levels of testosterone of adult male offspring. Additionally,we investigated the quantities and qualities of epididymal sperms, detected biochemical changes in testis and epididymis. The main results are as following:1、Compared with controls, proportions of individuals with ejaculation and numbers ofejaculations were all reduced markly, latency of mount and intromission were all delayed, plasma levels of corticosterone were increased markedly and levels of testosterone were reduced significantly.2、No significant differences were observed in body weight. testis index and quantities ofepididymal sperm of male adult offspring decreased significantly both 3km and 5km group. In 5km group, epididymis index and sperm activity decreased remarkably. However, total rate of epididymal abnormal sperms increased strongly when compared with control group.3、The activity of α-glucosidase in epididymal semen and the ratio of LDH-C4/LDH in testisdecreased in 5km group. However, MDA levels in testis and epididymis fructoses were increased strongly when compared with
