A total of 1,709 patients with type 2 diabetes were given questionnaires and asked to self-report on whether they had hypoglycemic symptoms, the severity of those symptoms, treatment satisfaction, and treatment adherence.1 Overall, 652 (38.4%) patients reported having hypoglycemic symptoms, compared with 1045 (61.6%) patients who reported not having hypoglycemic symptoms.
