Abstract
Objective: To compare learning effect of rolling manipulation skill during different forms of augmented feedback. In the application of motor learning and control theory, add instrument feedback to rolling manipulation skills action learning process, compare the role of teacher feedback and instrument feedback feedback in motor learning of skills, and explore the learning mechanism of rolling manipulation skill.
Methods: Chose 60 female undergraduates who were novices at rolling manipulation skill as subjects. They were divided into four groups: group of traditional massage teacher feedback teaching, they were practiced under the guidance of teachers, without information of instrument data; group of instrument feedback, they were told about the data (operating frequency, power, tactics curves and scores data) of the three practice while practicing; the third group accepted those two kinds of feedback, they practiced in the instrument data feedback and guidance of teachers while giving feedback; and the forth group was neither informed with the instrument test results, nor instructor. Each group of subjects were practicing the rolling manipulation for 30 min under different forms of augmented feedback. Compared the power, dispersion, scores and other data of their rolling manipulation which were recorded before the 30min practice,
after the practice and a week after the practice.
Result: 30min-practice of rolling manipulation skill has a significant impact on all the subjects’ skill learning. In the power of rolling manipulation operating, the teacher feedback factor had a significant effect on the X axis(P0.05), and on the Y axis all the four kinds of feedback has a significant effect on subjects’ skill learning(P0.05); in the operating frequency of rolling manipulation operating, the role of the instrument feedback factor was more important than teachers feedback factor , instrument feedback factor can markedly improve subjects’ rolling manipulation skill
