Public program directly embodies the basic functions of art museum -- education function, meanwhile, scientific and rigorous plan of public program is of great significance for the accomplishment of art museum’s value and the improvement of social influence. In public program, one special type deprives from it centered around exhibition. The emergence of such type better helps exhibition to broaden boundaries and realize its value. This paper will select public program derives from exhibitions of Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) as the basis for research, and based on the data, it will selectively analyze derivative public program. In addition, through horizontal comparison of domestic and foreign art museums, the paper will point out the problems and give some thinking. At the same time, this paper will also try to analyze the significance of public program for helping art museums to increase self dimension and expand its influence in the field of culture, thereby yielding corresponding theoretical solutions as well as constructive suggestions and also giving reasonable ideas to the development of public program of domestic art museum industry.
