AbstractSpacetrussstructureiscommonlyusedinmanyareas,suchaslarge-spanpublicconstructions,bridgeandhighwayconstructionsbecauseofitsuniquestructuresystem.Inrecentyears,thiskindofstructuregetsarapiddevelopmentinpublicconstructionareabecauseofitslightweight,lowpriceandeasyconstructed.Structureoptimizationdesigningcandecreasetheconsumptionofconstructionmaterialandconstructioncostsundergivenconstrains.Astrussstructurewidelyused,theoptimizationofitcapturesmanydesigners’attentions.Itmeansalotfordecreasingthespacetrussstructurecostsandpopularization.Forcantileverspacetrussstructure,theanalysisofitsstabilityisoneofthekeyproblemsinstructuredesign.Thispapertakesonestadiumconstructionasanexample,usesANSYSfiniteelementmodelssoftwaretooptimizethememberbarofthecantileverspacetrussstructure,andmakeslinearbucklingandnonlinearbucklinganalysistothestructure.Aftergettingthefailuremechanismandinstabilitymode,theauthorstudymoreaboutthestabilityofthecantileverspacetrussstructureandtooffersomereferencetothecomingdesign.Thefollowingsareincludedinthepaper:Cantileveredspacetrusstreattheactualprojectasresearchobject,usingtheoptimizeddesignfunctionofthefiniteelementanalysissoftwareANSYS,andcombiningthetheoryofstructuraloptimization,thestrength,stiffnessandstabilityofthecomponentandtheoveralldeflectionofthecantileverspacetrussasconstraintconditions,treatthetotalmassofthecantilevertrussasthespaceoptimizationtargettooptimizationdesignandanalysis.Considering1.2deadload+1.4live(snow)loadand1.2deadload+1.4live(snow)+0.6*1.4frontwindpressurereasonabledimensionsofthebaroftwokindsofworkingconditionsofwindpressure.Theresultsshowthatthetotalweightofthesteelreducedfrom2846.41Tto2544.68T.Itcansavesteel10.6%,theoptimizationeffectisgood,whichcanachievethepurposeofsavingcostandimprovingeconomicbenefit.Onthebasisoftheentirecantileverspacetrussstaticanalysis,adoptinglinearbucklinganalysisofthestructurebyANSYStogetthebucklingmodeandbucklingloadofthestructureindifferentworkingconditions.Theanalysisshowsthatcantilev
