AbstractInrecentyears,thefastgrowthoftotalenergyconsumptionleadstothewindpowerindustrydeveloprapidlyandwindpowerinstalledcapacityincreasesrapidlyeachyear.Atthesametime,limitedtransmissioncapacityrestrainsconsumptionofwindpowerandtheproblemofdroppingwindpowerbecomeserious.Thedevelopmentofdistributedsmallwindpowersystemcansolveconsumptionproblem.Withsettingupseparatepowersupplysystem,theproblemofregionalpowershortageshouldbesolved.Anewtypewindturbinewhich’sbladesmadeofflexiblematerialwasdesignedbasedonthebionics.Windcanalterthebladesprofilesothatimprovingthedistributionofflowfield.Thenewtypewindturbinehassimplestructureandneedslowerstart-upwindspeed.Itisremovable.Theflexiblebladeiskeyobjectinresearchproject.Thelawofbladecurvatureandattackangleeffectingonflowfieldwasfound.Therootcausewasalsofound.Someexperimentsandnumericalsimulationhavebeenaccomplished.Inordertofacilitatetheexperimentaltest,FlexiblebladechainwheelwassimplifiedforArraycascade.Bladesurfacepressuretestingexperimentshavebeenaccomplishedbymultipointsynchronouspressuremeasurementtechnology.Thirtygroupsofliftcoefficientwerecontrastedandanalysed.Thebestcurvatureisbetweencurvature0.013and0.026,thebestangleisbetween15degreesand25degrees.Numericalsimulationmodelofflexiblebladewassettingup.Ultimately,theresultsshowthatbestcurvatureis0.019andbestangleis20degrees.FlowfieldtestexperimentshavebeenaccomplishedbyPIVtechnologyandnumericalsimulation.Forty-twogroupsdistributionofflowfieldwerecompared.Whenattackanglelessthan20degrees,boundarylayeronsuctionsurfacekeepswellstream.Butwhenattackanglereaches30degrees,adversepressuregradientonsuctionsurfacewasincreasedrapidlysothatboundarylayerseparatesandvortexeswereproduced.Ultimately,thelift-to-dragratiodecreased.Moderatebladecurvaturecanimprovethestream.Butexcessivecurvaturecanincreaseadversepressuregradientrapidlyonsuctionsurfacesothatboundarylayerseparatesandvortexeswereproduced.Itisharmfulforaerodynamiccharacteristics.vortex-sheddinghasperiodicityandinstabilitysothatitcan
