ABSTRACTThisarticlestudiescorruptionevolutionandmodelsendogenouslythemicromechanismthatdecidesthetransitionofcorruptionequilibriabycapturesocialcapitalintheanalysis.Thefirstpartisliteraturereview.Throughmakingsystematicsurveyofstudiesrelatedtocorruption,weattempttofindthedirectionourstudyaimsto.Obviously,clarifytheconceptualconfusionwithrent-seekingandcorruptiongivetheexactlyobjectwetrytostudy.It‘satoughjobonstudycorruptionformationmechanismforthereareparticularphenomenasuchasdisguisedact,complexinterestofplayersandenvironmentalconstraintetc.duringcorruptiondecision-makingprocess.Theoretically,thosereasonsrequireusintroducestrictlydefinedconceptfromothersubjects,andtakethemrigorouslyintoeconomicanalysisasendogenouslyvariable,whichonpurposetomeasuretheprobabilityofcooperationbetweenindividuals.Methodologically,asarisinginstrument,EvolutionaryGameTheorycandealwithinteractioneffectin/betweengroupsunderexistingenvironmentcommendably.Insecondpart,usingmathematiclanguage,weaimtoillustratewhysocietyresultstohigh/lowcorruptionstablyequilibrium,whatmakesthissocietyrunintochosencorruptionpathandwhichpathbechoseninthelongrun.Twostablecorruptionequilibriaexistunderconditionsofcompleteinformation,constantinstitutionsandhomogeneityamongsocialmembers.However,corruptionbecomesthedominantstrategyforindividualdecisionmakersandthesocietyisentrappedinhigh-corruptionequilibriumwhenirrationalityincollectivebehaviorisoutofcontrol.Takingsocialcapitalintoconsideration,wefoundthat,withoutinstitutionalshocks,thelevelofmutualtrustiscrucialfactortoformtwosteadyequilibriaofcorruptionanddecidewhichcorruptionpaththesocietywouldbelockedin.Bycontrast,incompleteinformation,heterogeneityamongsocialmembers,administrativepowermightbe(accumulated)mutantfactorwhichcausedthechangeofthecorruptionpathinforeseeableperiods.Inthirdpart,thetheoriesproposedaretestedwithmicrodataandsupportedbythelogisticregressionresults.Forpurposeoftestingassumptionsmentionedabove,wecollectedmicro-datafromNationalCollegeEntranceT
