ABSTRACTWiththerapidgrowthofscienceandcomputingtechnic,Informationtechnologyhasalreadypenetratedeverysphereinpeople’sliving.itappearsinbillcheckingandaccountingofrestaurantsaswellasinfinancialmanagementofthegroupenterprises.TheERPimplementationhasbeenacriticalmethodofimprovingbusinessadministrationsandenhancingcorecompetencesofenterprises.ERPsystemrepresentstheadvancedmanufacturingtechnology.itsgreatutilitywereprovedbywestenterprises,manydomesticcompanieshavealsobenefitedwellwiththehelpofERP.EnterpriseswhoimplementedERPsystem,canmakeuptheirinsufficientmanagementresources,enhancetheirinternalmanagementfunctions,andefficientlyintegratecooperateorganizationstructures.atthesametime,theproblemsinoperationandmanagementcouldbeexpressedbyquantizeddata,whichoffersthemanagersclearguidingsuggestions.Accordingtothesurvey,morethan85%oftheforeigncompanieshasimplementedERPsuccessfully,ERPhasalreadybecometheirindispensablebusinessutilityInchina,ERPsystemdevelopedslowlyinearlytimes,but,after2002,thepopularityratebegantoraiserapidly.TheshareoflocalERPsuppliershasexceededforeignpeers.Andthetrendskeepsdevelopingingoodways.Shenhuaenergygroupisthebiggestandmostmodernizedcoralprocessingandsellingcompanyintheworld.Itowns21subsidiaries,62coalmines,manypowerplants,railroads,anddocks.Registeredemployeesexceed2.1million.ThescaleofShenhuagroupbloatedtoomuch,whichcausesseverechallengeininternalcontrol.Recently,chinahasreinforcedtherestrictioninnon-renewableresourcesandrealestates,thecompany’smajorbusinesssufferedstrongimpact.Thereforethegroupmustenhanceinternalcontrolwhilesearchingfornewprofitgrowth,andprotectitselffrompotentialrisks.Becausethedistanceofsubsidiariesvariesinlength,managementandoperationdepartmentcan’tmonitoreveryfilialeatthesametime.Thedepartmentcanonlymanagefilialesbymakingpoliciesorcasualinspections.Buttheinternalcontrolplaysdecisiveroleincapitalsafetyandriskmanagement.Astheinformationtechnologiesdevelopsofasttoday,normalwaysofinternalcontrolhasbeenreplacedbyitsystemsgradually.
