华中科技大学硕士学位论文华中科技大学硕士学位论文 II II Abstract Passive millimeter wave (PMMW) images can provide information which infrared images and visible light images dont have, and the PMMW imaging systems are used widely in microwave remote sensing, weapon terminal guidance and security system. We frequently have to fuse the PMMW image with visible light image or the image in other wave band, to acquire a high quality image with surplus information and enhance the application value of PMMW image. Image registration is a precondition of image information fusion. On the basis of studying the existing multi-source image registration algorithms, in this paper, a registrion algorithm was proposed to align the PMMW image with visible light image. In the image registration algorithm which was based on feature detection, visible light image was considered as reference image while PMMW image as sensed image. After the four steps: feature detection, feature match, transform model estimating, image introplation and reconstruction, the PMMW image was successfully transformed to the same coordinate system. After analyzing the error factors in image registrion process, adaptive regularization super resolution (SR) algorithm was presented to deal with PMMW image, because of its low spatial resolution and high-frequency information lackness. Using the same registration measure to align the SR treated PMMW image with visible light image, the registration result proved that the SR processing could decrease the feature localation error, and promote the image registration accuracy. The study improve the sensed PMMW images value in use, whats more, it is useful in high-accuracy image registration between images from other bands, infrared, for example.
