订单(order)是为了要求供应具体数量的货物而提出的一种要求。它是对报盘或询盘后发出报价而促成的结果。订单可以用信或印制好的订单、传真或email来发送。 订单的主要特点是正确和清楚。订单或订购信函应： 1. 包含所定购货物的品质、规格、数量、价格以及货号等。 2. 说明包装方式、目的港以及装运期 3. 确认在初期洽谈时所同意的付款条件 卖方收到订单后，如能接受应立即确认接受，并印制好的确认书sales confirmation (S/C) 或售货合同(sales contract)，签署后寄给买方，要求买方签署后退回正本一份，以供存查。经买卖双方签署的S/C是一份对双方具有约束力的售货合同，双方必须遵守执行。 有时由于买方所要求的货物无货可供或价格和规格已经改变，卖主不能接受买主的订单。在这种情况下，拒绝接受订单的信函必须非常仔细的缮写，说明不能接受的原因，而且要为友谊和今后交易留有余地。最好介绍一些合适的代替货品，提出还盘及劝说买主接受。 Letter 1 1. refer to:参考，参阅 2.
