I I 摘 要 摘 要 《儒林外史》是清代小说家吴敬梓创作的章回体小说，假托明代，实际反映的是康 乾时期科举制度下读书人的生活。《儒林外史》主要有四家评点：卧闲草堂评、黄小田 评、齐省堂评和天评。本篇论文结合前人的研究成果和现存的资料，整理分析了黄小田 评点对卧评主题的继承和突破，探讨了黄小田评点对人物和结构的艺术发掘，总结归纳 了黄小田评点的艺术特色。 黄小田评点涉及到主题思想、人物塑造的艺术、结构艺术、语言艺术、小说的要素 等各个方面。在艺术上，黄小田戏虐性的笔法鲜明的表达出强烈的爱憎之情。在主题上， 黄评继承卧评功名富贵的观点，并有深层的突破。在人物和结构的艺术上，黄评抓住刻 画人物的特质，细致的进行分析；黄评点明联系各情节结构之间的巧妙之处，对结构进 行整体的探讨。黄小田有自己的评点特色：首先，直称小说，并指出符合小说要素的方 面。其次，评者兼读者的双重角色，帮助读者深入理解寓意。最后，深入文中、投入深 情的评点。 尽管黄小田是封建士大夫，但是对《儒林外史》的评点全面深刻。因此，我们应该 站在客观的角度，给予黄评《儒林外史》公正的评价。 关键词 黄小田 《儒林外史》 思想主题 人物和结构艺术 评点特色 II II Abstract Abstract The Scholars is a Zhang Hui fiction created by the novelist Wu Jingzi of Qing Dynasty. This fiction, on the pretext of Ming Dynasty, reflects intellectuals’ fames and lives in the imperial examination system of the Kangxi and Qianlong periods. There are mainly four reviews of The Scholars: woxiancaotang’s assessment, Huang Xiaotian’s assessment, Qi Shengtang’s assessment, and Zhang Wenhu’s assessment. Combined with previous research results and the extant materials, this thesis sorts and analyzes the breakthrough of Huang Xiaotian’s assessment toward the theme of woxiancaotang’s assessment, thus illuminates Huang’s commentary of characters and structure of The Scholars, and researches the commentary standard of Huang Xiaotian’s assessment. Huang Xiaotian has made comments on the text from many aspects and formed his own commentary style. As for the content, Huang’s commentaries are related to the theme, the art of characterization, structure, and elements of the novel, etc. Artistically, Huang’s bantering techniques of writing distinctly express strong emotions of love and hate. Thematically, Huang’s assessment has inherited the viewpoint of the fame and fortune of woweicaotang’s assessment, and made a great breakthrough as well. As for the comment on the characters and the structure, Huang’s assessment grasps the trait of the character portrayal for further study in detail.
