But, the condition of the manufacture and living for the migrant workers in city isn’t very optimistic. And there are many factors which still effect or hinder the migrant workers’ social integration in city. Then, in this paper, the result from the investigation and interviews of 1152 migrant workers in main city of Chongqing is used to study on the actuality and effect factors. First of all, it defines the relative and basic concept about the urban migrant workers’ social integration and gives an induction for the social integration theory. And it summarizes the abundant inland and overseas studies about the social integration. Secondly, it analyses the actuality about the migrant workers’ social integration.
