Abstract
In July, 2011, the Ministry of Education promulgated the “Mathematics curriculum standards of full-time compulsory education”, which triggering a new round of textbook reformation. The organizational form of teaching materials and teacher organizations arrangement are important guarantees for the quality of teaching in classroom activities. The most representative is “comprehensive and practice” be covered by this new concept of new math textbook, which subsequently became the new paradigm of mathematics education. Beijing Normal University Press re-organized experts to prepare to join the new curriculum standards of mathematics textbooks in the new curriculum standards for the strategic direction, and has been widely used in the nationwide acclaim. With the extensive application of new curriculum materials, increasingly prominent some prior preparation and selection factors which do not considered in the process of teaching, but the use of this new teaching methods and precautions also will become important issues had to be considered in the moment.
Junior High School is the gold stage to develop mathematical thinking and model a person’s thinking ability. Grasp this crucial stage of “hands” ability is good to the formation and development of thinking in students’ future ability. Up to now, although the “hand-on” theory has been concerned in the education sector, but in fact, “hands-on” activity is still lack systematic quantitative and empirical research, especially in the presentation and application of results in hands-on activities in the current textbooks, which still has no one cares.
Based on these factors, this paper selects the widest range of “Beijing Normal University” textbook as a research object of the teaching of mathematics in current domestic.
