The study about dictionary in foreign is earlier than domestic, and it has not only confined to the quantity, the type and monolingual dictionary and the choice of bilingual research. The study of dictionary use has begun to bring user factor into the important aspect of the dictionary use research. The domestic study of dictionary use also gradually developed, and achieved some remarkable results, from the research object,has not only confined to the English learners, also appeared a small amount of dictionary use, the study of ethnic minority students and international students.The research content and research methods are also increasingly enriched,Not only involves the number and types of dictionary also involves the use of the user attitudes, factors influencing the dictionary of choice, the users use various aspects such as strategy, preference and purpose. On the research methods, questionnaire, interview, observation has experimental
