This trend and many issues triggered from it have caused common concerns among both of the industry and academia in recent years. This research focuses on the mode of foreign capitals’ entry, including what kinds of modes they prefer and the regulations behind their choices, in order to offer reference for the financing mechanism of China’s foreign investment in film industry. The research is based on comprehensive research methods including analysis of available documents, a questionnaire among China’s foreign-capital film enterprises and intensive interviews with industry experts from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
