II II Abstract Egypt has a long history and civilization, and also is an important political power of the contemporary in Middle East. In January, 2011, a big street protest broke out in Egypt; it pushed Egypt once again to the international political arena, and attracted extensive academic attention. This project explores the origin and development of constitutional change and other related concepts based on historical materialism and dialectical materialism, and makes full use of related research results of legal history, comparative constitutional studies, comparative politics science and international politics science, meanwhile, uses multidisciplinary research methods. On this basis, this project studies the change course of Egypt’s constitution systematically, and analyzes the characteristics and reasons of its change in different history periods. Besides, this project also discusses the influences of Islamic revivalism, military regime, socialist thought and the constitution and constitutionalism of Western countries to the changes of the Egypt constitution. Finally, this project discusses the development trend of the Egypt constitution and constitutionalism and its reference significance to developing countries in the future. According to the background of excess political power of leader in Egypt, the process of change on Egypt constitution is divided into five periods: original period, Nasser period , Sadat period, Muhamed Hosni Mubarak period and After a period of Hosni Mubarak. In Early Stage, the constitution in Egypt mainly imitated Western countries, especially their metropolitan state. During Nasser period, the change of the constitution in Egypt were mainly influenced by socialist thought, Islamic Reviving Movement and the military regime, along with Strong characteristics of The Times.
