哈尔滨工业大学工学硕士学位论文 - II - Abstract The direct current (DC) system is a substantive power supply in the power substation. Normally the DC system includes secondary cells, charge and discharge instrument, insulation supervisory device, main bus, spur track systems and so on. It acts as a reliable DC power supply for the equipments such as control equipments, signal devices etc. The reliability of the DC system is very vital and decisive to the safe operation of the whole power plant. The insulation supervisory device is such a system that it can promptly and exactly detect the insulative resistance of some main buses or spur track systems falling below the allowable value, and make sure which circuitry has arised some problems. So the operator of the power plant can find out and solve the malfunction timely, and ensure the safe operation of the whole system. This article brings forward a new method, namely Power Method, base on the analysis and conclusion of several popular insulation supervisory devices’ theories and limitations. The new method solves the primary weakness of those theories, such as they can not find out the insulation problem when the positive and negative main bus descend coequally or detect the main bus and the spur track systems insulation status with the same method. This instrument utilizes a general single chip processor as a main processor, designs the function module circuits for anolog input, digital input and output, power amplification and so on, thereby fulfills the inspection of the DC system insulation. All the function modules form a communication ring by the serial communication ports and all the data and commands transfer through the ring via a ‘package’ format. The instrument uses a big LCD as display interface, and fulfills the functions by menus such as voltage inspection, alarm value setup, output signal adjustment, zero point calibration and data transmission etc. After the adjustment and operation in the actual environment, this i
