华 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract Along with the vigorous development of Chinas economy, society has undergone tremendous changes, from planned economy transition to market economy opportunities for the broad masses of people to create a lot of opportunities for wealth, which formed an affluent class, and it was the local commercial banks to develop wealth management operations of the market . But despite the wealth management market for the rise of local commercial banks under the new form of business transformation, seeking new business growth provides great opportunities, but because of the short history of Chinas financial industry , the lack of investment experience of a well-off group, and the capital market is not developed, less derivative products, the free convertibility of the currency have not yet been realized, the financial sector are still implementing the regulation, investment is restricted to many factors such as wealth management in China is only just starting. The local commercial banks in the business awareness and understanding of the relatively limited, and with the accession to the WTO after the end of the transition period, foreign banks have been allowed to conduct RMB business. The foreign banks with well-developed system platform, a senior team of experts, and efficient business processes and strong competitive advantage in the globalization network, in the wealth management business competitiveness not to be underestimated. This paper focuses on the wealth management business and development strategy of local commercial banks, the article first reviewed the wealth management business development history, then analyzed the various maturity models and outstanding experience of internationally renowned banks in the wealth management.
