Therefore, research of Loxostege sticticalis L. artificial diet solves the problem of seasonal shortage of food, and provides the health, uniform physiological development insect source for research and prevention trials. it is of great theory significance and economic benefits. The main conclusions are as follows: 1.Through selecting empirically, we add leaf juice of Chenopodium album,leaf powder of Chenopodium album,leaf juice of alfalfa,leaf powder of alfalfa and the blank, reduce vitamin D, reed,cholesterol and so on in the diet, select empirically 5 kinds of formulations(HS、HG、MS、MG、CK), and the final result shows it is better to add Chenopodium album i.e. formula HG. Through orthogonal test, casein is a key factor of larval duration; casein, sugar and chenopodium album are key factors of the survival rate; casein, yeast powder, wheat bran and sucrose are key factors of pupation rate; casein is a key factor of pupa weight; paraben and inorganic salt are key factors of emergence rate.
