At present ，也.e public mostly conc时n 也e income gap between rich and poor，between regions and often ignore gender income gap problem. However，也e gend町 income gap and oth町 types of h income gap have many homologies. The gend町 income gap can help usωunderstand other forms of inωme di叩arity. Eliminating gend町阳叫uality a1so helps usω 《‘ improve 叫uality and justice in 也e 伽ld of income distribution. Inspecting academic research method and idea，由is paper based on 也e 2006 urban p.opulation research da恤， using m.odified multiple regression analysis to analyze 也e gender income di叩arit)巳 Results showed 由副 about 40% .of gender inc.ome gap is caused by market competiti.on mechanism ，ab.out 60% of which is caused by discrimination. Compare gender income inequality and gender discriminati.on .of different sectors，we found 也at relati.onship between the gender inωme gap and commercia1ization is n.onlinear.
