Research on the Development Mode of Provision for the Aged by Travelling Which is Taking an Example of Leyang City in Guangxi ( (Huang Yubao, College of Agriculture，Guangxi University， Nanning 530004，China） Abstract At the end of last century, Guangxi had a rapid economic development while it has entered into the stage of an aging population at the same time. Aging population is the final result of the economic and social developing, peoples living standards increasing,and the medical and health conditions fundamentally improving.It is also the obvious manifestation of social progress. In turn, aging population has brought a series of problems to the development of the society,so that the problem of supporting the aged is increasingly prominent. the pattern of providing for the aged. The existing pattern of old-age support have been unable to meet the demand of the elderly in guangxi, thus to explore more effective new pattern has become the important topic of the current old age social security in Guangxi. This research has conducted a complete investigation, collected the related sample data,and made descriptive statistics analysis to Guangxi Leyang City,based on literature method, survey method, field observation method, comparison method, the combination with quantitative research and qualitative research methods,and so on. Through this thesis research, I have deeply understood the situation of providing for the aged in Guangxi, while I have interviewed a population of the aged and the young who has supported the elderly, to understand the developmental status of local provision for the aged.At the same time, I have summarized the objective factors which is restricting the development of the pattern of suburban provision for the aged.
