西安建筑科技大学硕士论文 Research on the Lean Production in Flextronics (SU ZHOU) Company of EMS Enterprise Specialty：Business administration Name ：Zhang Jujiang Instructor ：Prof Liu Hua ABSTRACT The current global economy is facing a shrinking market demand and product diversification,and with the rising cost of materials and labor costs rise company profit margins are compressed which subject to greater influence and impact on the electronics manufacturing services industry (EMS) companies. It is urgent case to study the implementation of lean production to reduce operating costs for EMS companies. This text is taken lean production management system of Flextronics (Suzhou) company of EMS enterprise as example and analysize the main problems facing on their production systems. Based on the theories and methods of lean production, this text conducted systematic analysis and research focused on these two aspects of shop floor Kaizen and production process improvement and put forwards to detail lean production methods. The study found that shop floor had been significantly improved using case of tools- Identify Clear Waste, 5S Visual Management, Poka-yuke, VSM, SMED, Standard Work Sheet in Flextronics Suzhou company. Compared the related data before and after improvement of production system, it was found that changeover time was significantly shortened, the processing time of each station tends to balance, the usage rate of operating space was increased and significantly reduce the number of operator after usage of lean tools- Poka-yuke,VSM , SMED,Standard Work Sheet .
