Degree The Location of Interpretation: Text, Reader, and Author Candidate: Yang Lin Supervisor: Prof. Qin Mingli Academic Degree Applied for: Master of Arts Specialty: Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics Affiliation: School of Foreign Languages Date of Defense: July 5, 2007 Degree Conferring Institution : Harbin Institute of Technology HIT Graduation HIT Graduation Thesis for the MA Degree -I- -I- 摘要 在文本理论研究领域，文本意义阐释之归属是近年来国内外学者的研究热 点之一，他们或以文本、或以读者、或以作者为研究侧重点。相对而言，综 合论证三者在阐释文本意义作用方面的研究较为少见。鉴于此，本文将从文 本、读者、作者三个文本意义实现的必涉环节切入，研究每一环节的自身特 征及反证文本中心论、读者中心论、作者中心论之偏颇, 论证文本意义的阐 释权归属。本文主要从三方面进行研究。首先是文本内外因素：语境缺失、 互文性、文本性等因素揭示文本本质，即文本自身的永恒开放性导致文本意 义的动态生成过程。其次是读者阅读：对比错误阐释、误读、现象学阅读、 解构主义等阅读和读者反应，揭示阅读本质，即由于读者参与文本意义的形 成, 导致多元化文本意义。第三是作者与写作：探讨写作本身以及作者地位 权威性问题，揭示作者及写作的本质，即作者在文本中散播着自己的语迹， 这些语迹依赖读者重构，读者差异导致文本意义不同。在此论证基础上，本 文论证文本意义通过文本、读者、作者这三个环节共同实现，每一环节都导 致文本多义，因此文本意义的阐释不可能是单一归属，而是文本、读者、作 者之共建。 本文共分五章。第一章为引言，总结了国内外关于文本意义阐释研究的 现状。第二章给出阐释研究的理论根基。第三章为文本研究，论证文本意义 动态生成过程。第四章为读者研究，论证读者解读的多元性；第五章为作者 研究，论证作者权威的有限性；第六章为结论，指出文本意义阐释权之归属。 关键词 阐释；文本；读者；作者 -II- -II- Abstract In the field of textual analysis, the designation of interpretation is heatedly debated and the arguments are tremendously diverged among scholars home and abroad. Text, reader and author are respectively accentuated and endowed with the accountability of the interpretation of the meaning of the text as a result of these debates. Relatively speaking, the co-effort of text, reader and author in the construction of the meaning of the text has not been as thoroughly studied as those of them studied separately.
