Abstract This paper inspects methods of portrayal of the degree in Feixiang County dialect. We will make a comprehensive investigation and study abou the methods of portrayal of the degree in Feixiang County dialect as much as possible. The degree is the difference between things in quantity, and weighing quantity is usually expressed through the degree of marking. Beijing dialect expresses the degree in general through the degree adverbs, adjective overlaping, degree complement and other means. According to Chinese Language Atlas, the Feixiang dialect belongs to the Jin language area Hanxin piece.According to our current grasp of the material, the methods of portrayal of the degree in Feixiang County dialect,compared with Beijing dialect, there are not only similarities but also differences. What is the same is that the two adopts the expressions to be the same, for instance Beijing dialect and the Feixiang dialect use the degree adverb, overlaping and so on to express the degree; differences mainly reflects in the specific use of these tools, for instance double syllable nature adjectives overlapping, in Beijing dialect ,overlapping form is the AABB type,in Feixiang dialects, although there are also AABB type, but mainly ABB type; AABB type in Beijing dialect may not add the auxiliary “de（的）”in certain linguistic environment, but the dialect must add “de（的）”.This article embarks from the Feixiang dialects language fact, and attempts revealing the features of the expressions of degree in the Feixiang dialect through the degree adverb, the degree complement, overlaping, the condition adjective and so on research, and we hope it can fill the blank of research in the loach dialect ,providing some using materials for the Feixiang County dialect to further research.
