Abstract
Japanese car started later than European and American cars for at least 30 years, but Japans auto comprehensive beyond the European and American cars. Motor will power the first in the Toyota in Japan, in the first half of 2007,Toyota became the worlds largest automakers when it’s yield passed General motors , and profit margins well ahead of each big automobile manufacturer, so the theory of representative Toyota no argument to support the Japanese auto industry. Toyotas success is worthy of study and draw lessons from Chinas automobile industry,with the increasingly intense competition between industries, Chinas automotive industry of booming development, Chinese private car ownership soaring, so famous Toyota production mode has become many enterprises’choose to reduce waste and realize enterprise’ maximized profit. Combination with research so as to surpass Toyota production way, create a production mode of Chinese characteristics,take a suitable road for their own enterprise development, is the purpose of this study and meaning.
Based on the introduction of Toyotas development, comprehensively analyzed the measures and characteristics of the Toyota production mode. Two pillars of the Toyota production mode in the introduction: just-in-time and automatic mode of production at the same time, also effective means to use the mode of production on time kanban approach. To achieve the purpose of through reduce costs and improve the economic benefit.Then, the paper analyzes the specific measures, including to reduce the design costs and take the implementation of the collaborative design, try to reduce procurement costs, negotiation procurement savings strategy, pay attention to control and save implementation concepts in detail place, etc., are all worthy of reference in China.
