Ab Abstract I II Research on Road Accident Compensation Responsibility ABSTRACT With the continuous development of economy, society, and constantly promoting of urbanization, motor vehicle ownership sharply increases, then road traffic safety situation becomes worse. Road traffic accidents have risen to be the first killer of all accidents, directly or indirectly threat the property and life safety of human. Social conflicts and disputes caused by road traffic accidents could not be taken lightly, because they would easily lead to social instability and disharmony. In order to further standardize the order of road traffic, prevent and contain fatal accidents, safeguard the legitimate rights of road accident victims, China has formulated and promulgated the Road Traffic Safety Law, Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law, Mandatory Motor Vehicle Traffic Liability Insurance Regulations and a series of judicial interpretation. But the liability principle of road traffic accidents, the determination of responsibility subject and the traffic Accident damages compensation are still in dispute, while there isnt a specialized law of road traffic accident damages compensation to safeguard the legitimate rights of traffic victims. Therefore, combining with the practical situation, this paper will investigate and study on the damage compensation of road traffic accidents in China, and put forward some constructive suggestions for improvement. This paper includes three parts, introduction, body and conclusion . The body is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter, the author elaborates the concept of road traffic accident, analyses the relations and differences between the responsibility of road traffic accidents and road traffic accident damages compensation.
