AbstractAbstract Abstract Abstract As the expanding of modem enterprise’s grouping scale，the need of processing information resource grows rapidly,and the process of enterprise’s account execution becomes more and more complex．It becomes an important subject on the front of modem information technology circle，on how to organize and manage more automatically and effectively on commercial course by computer．Because the technology of workflow has supported the automation commercial process，it obtained extensive research and development in recent years，and it became the necessary tool for combining the complex information of enterprise’S environment and executing automatically on the service flow． As for the technology of workflow,the workflow management system is used to define and establish work flow,and to survey and manage the implementation process of workflow．Confronting the increasing complex information process and the distributional application execution environment，the workflow needs to provide the formalized modeling method，which makes it much clearer to define and analyze formalized on the executive process without any confusion．As graphics and mathematics modeling tool，Petri net provides a powerful modeling method for describing and researching the complex systems，which parallel，asynchronous， distributional and randomness and SO on．Therefore，the usage of Petri net plays an important role on the modeling and analyzing on the technology of workflow． This thesis mainly debates on the modeling of workflow management system，and its performance analysis，which is provided by the Petri nets technology．In the aspect of modeling，it mainly uses the modeling method which is based on the workflow net (WF-net)，and adopts the theory of refinement and the basic modules to carry on modeling hierarchical workflow nets of the large—scale and complex enterprise，which enhances the flexibility and the validity of the modeling process．As for the aspect of quality analysis for w
