Is he tall or short? Does he have straight hair or curly hair? 三.Teaching procedure: Step 1: Leading in: Review the appearance words. (2mins) Teacher shows different pictures of people’s looks, and have students to describe them. T: What does he look like? S:He has short hair. Step 2: Work on 2d ( 6mins) 1. Play the recording and have students to read after it, then answer some questions. T: Look at this picture. The boy’s name is David, he is Mike s friend.Mike will invite David to go to the movies tonight.But Tony doesn’t know what David looks like.Let’s listen and try to read after the tape. After that, please answer the following questions. (1)What are Mike and Tony going to do tonight? (2) Where will Tony meet David? (3)What does David look like? 2. Have students to underline the sentences that are used to describe people’s looks. And then role play the conversation.
