It makes the video survei11anωs more efficiency，more a∞urate and makes the surveillances easi町. The paper designed an applícation platform whích is integrated wíth the video analysis algori也ms provided by the ∞mpany ObjectVideo. 白lis platform is aωomplished on the hardware platform DM642 and most of the work in this pap町 is to design and realize the software that is run on DM642. The plat岛rm is made up ofby the DSP software which is written on the system DSPIBIOS provided by TI and the PC software 也at is written in C我They ωmmunicate with each other 町e in used of the network.A PC canωntrol numbers of DSP devices. They work together to realize the many functions，including set the deviωIP，set the GPIO rules，set the MAC address， display the real time view and update the ∞de of the DSP device. Because the paper is ∞ncentrate on the so玩ware realization ，it will introduce the hardware s位ucture briefly.
