Step2: Warming-up The 21st century will be the century of Information Technology. Before you listen, discuss in pairs what IT consists of. Step 3:Listening (1)Listen to the whole text and write down the main idea in one sentence. (2)Listen to Part A and fill in the chart. Then do the same with Part B. Step 4:Discussion What are the advantages and disadvantages of each form of IT? In small groups discuss this question and put your ideas onto the chart. Then decide when each kind of IT is most useful. Use these reasoning expressions in your discussion. Step4: Reading Lead-in Watch a video about robots Fast reading for general ideas and then fill in the table. Careful reading and fill in the blanks.
