山东大学硕士学位论文ABSTRACT 山东大学硕士学位论文 ABSTRACT Expanding along with the total number of stude：nts in aniversities．the campus area expands unceasingly．School public facilities，like underground supply and drainage pipelines，electricity lines，paths，building，parkinglots，sports field and so on,all is facing the problem of newly built．extension and renewal．Therefore．the accurate statistics of the public facility foundation data in the school aDpears to be especially important．These foundation data have a close relation with geographical location．also there exists big time span,the broad coverage，the enormous data,the frequently-changed data,the complex departments．the poor management．nle above factors have brought a series ofproblem for the data management,such as the ununanimous data,the difficulty with retaining of historical matedal integrity,the data inquiry,the renewal．the statistical difficulty,the low efficiency use．The geographic information system technology,the space data bank technology and the GIS integration development technology have provided the powerful tool for the solution ofthe above problem． Taking the construction and the development of Zibo Vocational Institute’s campus GIS as a background．this article gives a detailed introduction ofthe campus GIS’analysis， the design and the realization process，which is based on the ArcGIS platfoITn．It elaborated with emphasis the ArcGIS system structure and its essential technology．ArcGIS outlines and constructs the foundation franle of the newest geographical information syrstem platfornl,in which it takes in many mainstream，mature software and the communication． Uses ofthe mmns缸cam technology mainly include the graphical 1．kerr interface，the module technology,the object-oriented database，the network and the correspondence，the modem developed language．and so on．GIS integration development technology is based on Arcobiects．one kind of portal frame construction．and users of this kind of structure can develop special domai
