Due to the complexity of Y Port ore terminal production management system project,the project schedule management encounters many problems.How to ensure the production management system of Y Port ore terminal on time and to improve the efficiency of project schedule management is the main task of the project team. In this thesis,according to the actual situation of Y Port ore terminal production management system development,through the case study of the progress management,based on the waterfall model of software development,detailed analysis of the Y Port ore terminal production management system project schedule management problems,put forward a reasonable improvement program. Firstly,this thesis introduces the basic situation and characteristics of Y Port and its ore terminal,the technical framework of software development,the characteristics of the project process,the project organization form,describes the problems encountered in the process management of Y Port ore terminal production management system.Secondly,based on the theory ofproject planning and control,the reasons for the delay ofthe late project ofY Port ore terminal production management system are analyzed,three aspects separately from the project schedule,project schedule control,software development model analysis and improvement,the project schedule is not detailed,the scope change control system is not perfect,the waterfall model defects,ere。Finally,strategies to improve ore terminal production scheduling management system,improved Ore terminal system schedule,reasonable application of progress control method,reasonable application software development methods,pay attention to the tr
