AbstractIn Abstract In the 70s of20th century,the world scope appeared the city color plan research，at present，more and more receives are taken to the city color plan，many cities try hard to make the characteristic color landscape．111e residential land is account for about 30％in the city,the residential district color often presents of the relative whole form，and has the important influence to the city color landscape．However the modem city r鹤idential district color all attempts to pursue respective characteristic，then the design is lack of the whole consciousness to the eity color landscape,or the tinting is improper,instead city color landscape appears mix(color is close that cannot differentiate)and the disorderly phenomenon，this kind diverse and confused is essential difference to the multiplicity．Former call’t create the good city color landscape by using the chromatics principie． Although the research to residential district color is much at present，but all stays at the microscopic aspect which only tints in the building．nlis thesis is research of the residential district color,through another new way,which looks the residential district color as a whole object．And the residential district color is the main part of the city color landscape，this thesis analyzes the control kill and the evaluation system of the residential district colon Depending on the city color planning，the color theory,the color geography,chromatics，environmental psychology,this thesis proposes the color group idea,discriminates the color group connotation and the extension；analyzes the residential district color group’s visual effect and the behavior effect．With utilizing the investigation and study，this thesis analyzes two methods to early on the construction formation mode ofcolor group,summarizes the mother body repetition，color gathering, the main material coloration，the tone gathers，change positions，five color group mode of formation；From inheriting and innovating two aspects，summariz
